Help choose a graphics card for this build?

A friend is giving me his old pc but I need to buy a new graphics card for it. My main intention for this computer is to game with it.

The specs are as follows:

6670 is very pricey for its performance and 460 will just pawn it in any scenario

You may want to consider the HD 6850.

It would be around $30 less than the GTX 460 you had there, and a lot, lot better than the 6670.

Cheaper than the 6850 is the 6770:

It's essentially a rebranded 5770, and for the same price. It would put your performance somewhere between the 6850 and 6670.

Decent performance for the money you pay, you can even get 2 for the sake of SLI.
