Hi guys...I have a "newbie" question about networking a dial up internet connection. I'm stuck in dial up hell for the time being, and I'd like a way to wirelessly access my dial up connection with my laptop. I have 2 other desktop computers along with the Wi-Fi laptop. Is there any way I can access the internet by networking one of the desktops with the laptop wirelessly? Can the laptop access the dialup connection if the two computers are networked? I know someone makes a "dial-up" router, but it was extremely expensive the last time I looked. I'm just looking for a faster and cheaper way of surfing without cables. Thanks for the help..and thanks for answering a "dumb" question.

You can use your desktop computer as router. You just need to enable ICS. ICS works over dial up connection too.
