'Fantastic Four' Heroes Powered by Theme Songs

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The members of the "Fantastic Four" will
now have individual theme songs to match each of their unique
personalities and powers.

Four of today's top musical artists have written and recorded
character-driven music tracks for Activision's "Fantastic Four" video
game, which will be shipped this summer in conjunction with the
release of the 20th Century Fox film.

Rock band Taking Back Sunday's "Error Operator" will provide a
backdrop for the superhero team's stretchy leader Mr. Fantastic, while
punk femme group Go Betty Go performs "Everywhere" for The Invisible
Woman. The Explosion appropriately lights up "I'm on Fire" for The
Human Torch, while Jurassic 5 cranks out "Clobberin' Time" for The
Thing.

Audiences can listen to the songs when they debut in
character-specific trailers to be released online in April and May as
well as on the "Fantastic Four" game as a bonus feature.

Gamers will be able to play solo or in two-player cooperative
team-based gameplay in order to test the superheroes' powers against
villains in new environments as well as familiar comic book locales.
The video game will be available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and
GameCube game systems.

The big-screen version of "Fantastic Four" -- starring Ioan Gruffudd,
Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis and Julian McMahon -- will
take the country by storm on Friday, July 8.

What a pointless post. It's like a press release for something no one
would care about. Wait; Googling the poster's name, there is a series of
threads started on message boards that all read like press releases,
with no follow up from the poster. But not just for videogames; for eye
surgery too.
http://www.medkb.com/Uwe/Forum.aspx/vision/2306/Verisyse-Phakic-IOL
But for videogame stuff as well:
http://www.game-bb.com/xbox/Microsoft_Ready_to_Show_New_Xbox_407161.html

The Xbox group shows 17 messages going back to November on my server
from "Ablang", all press release type posts. No responses to anything.
Several stories from the Sacramento Bee (in keeping with a news path
going through two California uniersity related servers on its way to
me). Several posts of stories previously reported in the group. This,
combined with a complete lack of any response to anything in the group
(on the web as well; the poster seems to have never replied to anything
on a web forum, but has simply started threads), strongly implies the
poster does not read the group.

So why would someone post in this manner? Perhaps such a poster is
mentally challenged and believes he is doing something helpful. Or
perhaps he is a PR flack, sophisticated enough to post one or two not
perfectly in step pieces, but not sophisticated enough to appear as not
posting PR.

If it's this guy
http://www.techimo.com/forum/member.php?s=ef9192e65ea8e32d0bd42d8dfc1bf739&userid=953
(lives in Sacramento, has a tendency to post news stories but to not
respond to anything) he says he's an engineering tech, so I suppose he'd
just be making money on the side flacking. But then again, maybe he's
just a clueless guy who posts news. AIM him at "rablang" and ask him why
he does it...

Here are some conversation starters for you in addition the subject of
pointless crossposts with no new content:

July 15

Location :
Sacramento, CA

Interests :
women, surfing the net, eating, & women

Occupation :

Sacramento, huh? See if you can find his address, and I'll drive over to
his apartment, ring the bell, and tell him to knock it off in person. :)

We have to give Ablang a little slack. At least he quit posting articles
dated 6 months ago.

I think this is his cat...

Ah, but wait; I think this is the guy, as the initial R is around, and
this Sacramento guy's name is Ron (photo is there):
http://www.filipino.ca/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=22141&start=1
So if you run into him, ask him to stop.
His phone number may be
(916) 688-7174
if http://phone.people.yahoo.com is to be believed and if that is the
guy. You could call him and ask for his address, then go and ask him to stop.

And, in the end, who cares? It's not like he's trolling or something. It was
interesting, sorta... Irrelevant, but kinda amusing...

Interesting? Basically it said that there's going to be game
released...WITH MUSIC! Ooh! Aah! Why this was made into a press release
is beyond me.

It listed specific music, including songs made specifically to exemplify the
characters. It's not IMPORTANT, but it's not completely stupid.
