what PSU would you recommend fro a system with a minimal PSU voltage of 482w.

Biostar A880G+
AMD 3.4Mhz Dual Core
4GB Corsair 1333Mhz RAMA
Geforece 8800GTX

And....would Windows Vista be compatible with this hardware so i can use all 8Gb of my RAM?

do you have a budget? you would need Vista 64 bit to fully utilize system RAM above 3.25GB

as for some budget PSU
corsair CX series
antec neo eco
antec earthwatt
OCZ modstream

all of the above offer PSU with 500w & 30a+ on the 12v, which would be plenty of power for you

some more expensive options for you would
seasonic bronze series
corsair TX
antec true power new and High current gamer
OCZ ZS and ZT series

that's not a good PSU

these are better options in your price range (under $80 shipped and out the door, no silly MIR to make it under $80 six months later)

good
