What will you be doing with this system? In the meantime, the best memory for your system is 1600 MHz @ 1.5 volts with a CAS of 9-24. Here's a quality low cost kit (8 GB) that meets the specs: Corsair Vengeance Blue Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CML8GX3M2A1600C9B) [CML8GX3M2A1600C9B] http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY... murf111 September 10, 2012 2:10:32 PM Ive got a asus rampage 2 gene, i7 920 and 6gig of OCZ ram and its still a bit slugish. Triple channel ram is for the old Intel set ups ( see above poster ). Yes, agree that 8gigs would probably be more than enough for most people. ( get 2 4gig sticks ) murf111 September 10, 2012 5:48:45 PM Let me put it this way. If its a dual channel motherboard could i put two single sticks of the same ram in there.
