Gddr3 and gddr5

Hi.
What is the difference between ati 5670 1gb gddr3 and gddr5????
I have a 19" LCD so which one should be better??and would it make much difference if I buy gddr3 instead of gddr5?bcause gddr5 is not available here

The better choice would be a 5670 512mb GDDR5, the 5670 isn't that powerful so it wouldnt be able to utilize 1GB, so save yourself a few bucks and go for the 512mb, but make sure its GDDR5.

GDDR3 is a nice chunk of performance off GDDR5.
What price are the cards? If your monitor is 1600*900, then you should be able to get by with a 5670 GDDR3 for lighter gaming.

i want to play assassins creed 2 and call of duty 7 on samsung b1930 which is 18.5 in wide screen and i have core 2 duo 2.4ghz with 2gb ram. which card i require. it would be better if i save money here and spend on something else
