New Build for a Friend. ~$1k - $1.5k for Epic Gaming

Hey guys so my friend asked me to find him some parts for his $1-1.5k budget. Now he wants to play BF3 etc.. all those fancy game shenanigans.

He needs mouse and keyboard, NO OS. He prefers Intel.

Thanks.

  2. Just out of curiosity, why not an i7 2600k? just wondering.
  3. because i7 2600k has no significant advantage over i5 2500k in gaming... while being $95 expensive than the latter... so why pay more for nothing? i7 2600k is better suited for heavily multi-threaded task and thats outside of gaming scope....
  4. Well done @phenom90 you suggest him to outstanding pc.
    @iceycold just do that.
  5. okay thanks! computer technology is incredible, I built something in February for 1k and now a few months later for $500 more u build something 10x better.
