Connect to internet via another computer

Hello,
I wish to connect one laptop to the internet via a desktop that has a subscription for mobile internet. Is that possible? How?

Check out Windows ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) in Windows Help & Support menu.

You'll need a crossover version of an ethernet cable between the network ports of the two computers.

so this is what you do, create a LAN with your two machines, I assume you know how and make sure your modem is active, then right click at the my network places icon you will be able to view the LAN & modem icons, right click @ the modem icon, properties then networking and then enable other machines to connect to your internet connection and enable DHCP + the rest of the settings, hope this is gonna save your troubles
