Question About 8 pin and 4 Pin on Asus MOBO

Hello,
my board has both 8 and 4 pin in addition to the 24 pin. but i only have the money to buy a psu with 24+4 pin will this work with ASUS Maximus V EXTREME? please help, thanks

I'd advise buying a power supply with the needed 8pin and 4pin connectors... That additional 4pin is typically for the PCIe slot.

it on page 48 you just have to connect one of the ports the 4 pin or 8pin pci power plug. just make sure you buy a good bronze level power supply. and one that have the wattage on the 12v rail for your gpu card.
