Monitor Won't Get Signal

Hello, I built my computer about 2-3 years ago and at least 9 months ago it just stopped getting a signal. I turned it on every once in a while to keep it working and everything functioning. It's still the same problems. I've tried a different monitor, a different video card, I even just changed CPU's and it just seems as though it can't get a signal on the screen no matter what I do and I have absolutely no idea what the problem is! The motherboard gives me an "FF" code which means boot, and all of the lights and onboard starts work so it can't be the motherboard. I just wish I could get it a dang signal and don't know what to do anymore! It's $2000 worth of lights and fans at this point. Any ideas for what the problem may be in getting the signal back?

Your video card might be broken or if you don't have a video card then your motherboard is broken.

Pull the cmos battery from the motherboard for 5 minutes and put it back in, it may be stuck in sleep mode.

Does the monitor and video cable work with another computer?

Does the video card work in another computer?
