Thank you for your input it is much appreciated!

- 850W is overkill even if you get another GTX 560Ti, this would be more than enough power: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371049

- Crucial M4 is probably faster and more reliable than the Vertex 2 and it costs less.

- That case is pretty expensive, i think you would be better with something a bit cheaper like the HAF 912, HAF 922 or Storm Scout so you can get a GTX 570 or something. Or if you want something quiet, the Fractal Design Define R3 is nice.

- I would get the low profile version of that RAM so you can install a CPU cooler in future, that RAM won't fit under most coolers.

@ jmsellars

How are RAM and CPU Cooler related? I've read somewhere that 1.65V rams burn SB processors.

Processor: Intel Core i5 2500K $220
HSF: CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ $30
Mobo: Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 ATX $130
RAM: Gskill RipjawsX 2x4GB 1.5V CAS9 1600Mhz $55
GPU: HIS IceQ Turbo H697QT2G2M Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 - $370
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200rpm $60
SSD : Corsair Force Series 3 60GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $80
DVD: LG DVD R/W $20
PSU : CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 - $110
Case : COOLER MASTER HAF 922 BLUE RC-922M ATX Mid Tower : $100

Total : $1175

Vengeance is 1.5v and it is tall, it means it won't physically fit under a lot of CPU coolers.

Heres a super quiet high performance build:

i5-2500k - $219.99
8GB Corsair Vengeance LP - $52.99
ASRock Z68 Extreme3 - $124.99
MSI Twin Frozr III GTX 570 (Fermi) - $369.99 EDIT: (If you can find the Gainward Phantom version it may be quieter and cheaper.)
Crucial M4 64GB - $89.99
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB - $59.99
Antec P183 - $139.99
Antec CP-850 850W - $129.99
Samsung DVD Burner - $19.99

$1207.91 before shipping (no rebates)

Slightly over the budget but should be extremely quiet and more powerful then your original build.
