Hi, so i am most likely going to buy the graphics card posted below and i will put it into the motherboard which is also listed. The mobo has a PCIE slot, however not a PCIE 2.0. I know PCIE2 cards will fit into the PCIE 1 Slot however will this backwards compatibility drastically limit the graphics' cards performance?

You can run a PCI 2.0 card in PCI x16, and if it makes a difference in performance it should be insignificant. The most important thing is that the slot is x16. With that said, you will run into some performance loss with that motherboard if you intend to run crossfire at any point, as it only has one x16 slot.
