Hi -

I just recently assembled an Asus p8z68-v with the following hardware:

Intel i5 3.10 Ghz
Corsair 1600 Mhz DDR3 (2) 4GB modules
1.5 7200RPM SATA HD
350 Watt Power Supply
Windows 7 64Bit

Everything seems to be working fast but I noticed when it's installing an application the software that was included with the board pop's up with a warning message saying the CPU is at 72-75 Centigrade.

Will that be an issue in the future of the system running into overheating problems?

Thanks
Stephen

I had to unmount the fan with heat sync then remount it. I guess initially I did not mount it flush on the processor. I am glad the board shuts down when it gets too hot in the BIOS. It was reading 82+ C. Now it's reading 32C.
