OK for budget build?

I want to build a new budget computer, ideally not going above 450, 500$. It will just be my personal computer, I occasionally play games, but mostly use it for internet/movie watching and some music making/editing. This build is ~400$, I do not need a dvd drive, monitor, OS.. I was wondering if my old PSU would be adequate for this build or if I should just invest in a new one? It is a Rocketfish 500-Watt ATX CPU Power Supply RF-500WPS2. I'm not forgetting anything important, right? I built my last computer six years ago and it would still be fine for me except I recently blew out my USB ports on accident.

Going with llanno is a good idea considering your needs. Definitively bump the ram to 1600, llanno benefits from higher speed ram.

As far as the psu goes I would look for a better higher efficient unit. That psu's oem is apparently Huntkey. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817815007&Tpk=xigmatek%20400w this is a very good unit for the price.
