Hello everybody!

I'm trying to build my PC for the first time, and though I've already chosen all the components I'm afraid I could have made some stupid mistakes. The build is now as follows:

Monitor 21.5" MONITOR Samsung P2250 KUV <Rose Black>
Mobo MSI 7673 P67A-G45-B3
CPU CPU Intel Core i5-2500 3.3 ГГц/SVGA/1+6Мб/5 ГТ/с LGA1155
RAM Kingston ValueRAM <KVR1333D3N9K2/8G> DDR-III DIMM 8Gb KIT 2*4Gb <PC3-10600> CL9
GPU GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1Gb <PCI-E> DDR-5 Gigabyte GV-N560OC-1GI
HDD HDD 1 Tb SATA 6Gb/s Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 <ST31000524AS> 7200rpm 32Mb
PSU Antec EarthWatts <EA-650Green> 650W ATX
Cooler ZALMAN<CNPS10X Performa>
Case Miditower Cooler Master <RC-430-KKN1> Elite430 Black&Black ATX
DVD DVD RAM & DVD±R/RW & CDRW Optiarc AD-7263S <Black> SATA

which costs about 1200$, and my budget being 1300$. Now a couple of words on how I'm going to use this PC:
- I am a gamer, so I want modern games (now and for a couple of years in future) to run smoothly on it, maybe not on the highest graphics settings.
- I'll be watching HD films, but I suppose I'll have no problems with it. I usually delete films after watching, so I do not need much space for it.
- I do not intend to overclock this PC, since I have no experience in it at all and too afraid to screw something up.
- I want to install Win7 Home and Ubuntu OSes (50GB partition for Win7 system files, 50GB partition for Ubuntu system and shared 400GB data partition).
- I am also a coder, so I'll be coding on this PC too, probably. Maybe even using CUDA.
- I'm not sure if this matters, but the case with PC will be standing on the floor, not on the table. And I live in Russia, so its not very hot here, except for summers (+27/+30 tops).

Now a couple of things I'm especially concerned about:
- Is PSU good enough for this build? PSU calculator shows about 400W, but I might've screwed up somewhere so worth asking
- Will I need more cooling? Are LGA1156 and LGA1155 coolers compaitable? Performa's spec says it supports LGA 1156, but says nothing about LGA1155
- Is the build balanced? Is something worth upgrading or downgrading?
- I've asked advice on a local forum and I was told my MoBo bad. Is that true
Anyway, I will appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't say that the MoBo is a bad choice - it was the one I had planned to go with as well, but it was out of stock in my particular area.

The 650w should be fine, Nvidia recommends a minimum of 500w, and since you're not overclocking your processor won't use more than 150w.

Nothing jumps out at me as being wrong, or incompatible.

Oh and that cooler you have will work just fine :)

Hm. There is a problem that the shop I'm buying parts in does not have this case. But I don't think USB 3.0s will become much of an issue to me. USB2.0 ports should be enough for most purposes for now, and on those rare occasions when I would actually want use USB3.0 ports I think I'd just use rear interfaces. But thanks anyway, I'll look for other cases.
