I recently finished my new ivybridge build and I am having some trouble running both the front panel and rear panel audio. I am running the asus maximus v formula motherboard and the coolermaster storm series trooper case. I have the front panel jumpers plugged in correctly into the AAFP front panel pins on the bottom left edge of the board. When I have it plugged in this way the front panel works as intended but the rear does not even when I switch the main audio in windows 7. I contacted asus support thinking it was a board issue but they told me if I had the AAFP jumpers pluged in the front that I wouldn't be able to use the rear audio ports at all. That didn't seem right to me and after consulting the board manual I am sure that is incorrect. Does anyone have some insight on this issue? I am hoping its not a board defect but if it is at least I know whats wrong. Thanks!
