I think the build is decent but im always looking for second opinions and recommendations. I haven't included a GPU because I already have a GTX580. i already have Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on the way and my budget is 1000$ taxes included.

I like the build however I don't think you need that drive I would go with the samsung f3 (not sure what blue is. The samsung f3 is a favorite on the forums here and a great drive all together.

One question, why that case?

Otherwise, like i said, it all looks fine, the PSU is enough to handle the gtx 580, the ram is good, etc. Nice job

when you say that drive I'm assuming you're referring to the HDD and that case because I don't have any money left over haha although please tell me what you would've used instead just in case I happen to make a few quick bucks in time

I'm not sure where you heard about that but my friend just got his i5 few days ago and the stock cooler was there and about the SSD, i saw what it can do on my friend's build and I can't resist :p

I would definitely pick up the F3 over the 1TB caviar black, especially since the F3 has a $15 off promo code until september 6th making it only $60 since it has free shipping too.

Dont forget to consider the price of shipping that antec 100 is $84 after shipping or you can pick up an Antec 300 Illusions that comes with the extra fans for $80 after shipping making it cheaper

Other than those two it looks quite nice, the 2500K does ship with a cooler, not sure where corroded got that it didnt, but only OEM chips do not ship with a cooler. Also, the Corsair H series coolers are poor values for the money and only useful if you have very limited space or memory that conflicts with the fans on most coolers.

The antec 300 case regular without the cool glowing fans is $60 with shipping, the antec 300 illusion which is 69.99 has free shipping right now and comes with fans and what not so id hop on the antec 300 illusion its cheaper then the case you have now and its alot better! Good call on that hunter

Also good choice going with the samsung f3.

So you can get the case upgrade without needing to make any quick bucks. enjoy
