my laptop crahsed,and some techies suggested me to use memtest...
every time i try to install windows ...half way thru i get this blue screen that says
" PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA"

could this be a motherboard problem?

Memtest is bundled with the Live distro of Fedora. You can simply boot into it.
