Way too much RAM being used when idle?

Hello. I just opened my task manager and noticed I'm using almost 7GB of RAM when I'm at the desktop. All that is open is Google Chrome, AVG anti-virus, Steam, Skype and the necessary Windows processes. There are some other random ones, but they are only using a few KB of RAM.

It doesn't really matter because I have 16GB of RAM, and everything runs fine, but it is kind of concerning.
