Hi I have students living with me and I have a limited usage broadband plan. These students tend to overuse and max the plan out. I have a wireless modem and have created a private secured network. If I give them access I would like them to have access during certain times only what can I do?
I have Vista and a Belkin N Series Modem/Router.

See if the router's setup screens allows you to block sites. You might then be able to figure out from the log, the sites most popular with your students and block them at certain hours.

You can also bar the students from the router manually by activating Access List (called different things by different brands but basically allows you to include or exclude users by the MAC ID unique to each user's wireless adapter).
