Is it really just that piece of plastic on top?

Thanks!

Visiontek is technically Powercolor's premium brand, but yeah.
The 5830 might not come back in stock though, so don't bet on it too much.

I bought a Dell XPS 8300 and have to have a single slot car due to space and slot restrictions. Any advice? I would love one of those double decker cards, as I have seen many highly rated going for great prices.

The 8300 should fit double-slot cards fine if you don't have other expansion cards though.

Don't really know, but they seem to use the same custom PCBs and Visontek just has a "lifetime warranty".

Perhaps they have the same OEM. :pt1cable:

I found a post on another forum claiming that Visiontek actually purchased the Killer HD5770 from Powercolor, which was supposed to launch as the "PowerColor Radeon HD5770 Sniper". So, I guess it's possible that Visiontek is pulling a Diamond and simply buying and rebranding cards from other companies.
