Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 Laptop for gaming?

Hey, I'm new and don't really know how this forum works. I need some help in purchasing a laptop.

I need a laptop for school and I figure games would be nice too so why not spend more and have one that runs games too. It doesn't need to be a full on gaming computer, just needs to run some stuff.

I need as cheap as possible ($700ish).

I'm looking at the Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 w/

Intel i5-2410M ( 2.30GHz 1333MHz 3MB )
NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M 1GB
4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz

$679.20

I checked benchmarks on the graphics card (I have no idea what I'm looking at) and everything seems to be in the green on games like Black Ops and other games.

I like mostly single player horror games like Dead Space, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, L4D, etc... But I would like to play all kinds of games.

I don't really care too much for high graphics, but the higher the better.

Would this be a good purchase for me?

According to this http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html it is a reasonably capable laptop GPU not highest detail but acceptable.

That's what I looked at, I figure the fps on most things looks good and I could drop to med/low graphics if needed.

for the price I think it is good, laptops are usually expensive when high level gaming is considered.
