AMD Gaming PC

Hi,

My name is clifton, and i wnt to do sum gaming on my pc. Games like NFS Hot pursuit 2, GTR 2 & Gran Turismo.
Nw my prob is that my pc info :

AMD Sepmron 140
1GB DDR2 RAM 800mhz
52x CD writer
Motherboard GEFORCE
No Graphics Card
Its an Acer Power Series
And Yes its OLD.

Nw i either wnt to upgrade or built a nw system. Please advice. I have browsed the net and found out about building a nw gaming pc.

Below is my proposed config :

AMD Phenom X4 955
ASUS M4A88T-M LE Motherboard AMD880G For AMD
G skill 4GB DDR3 1600mhz Ram Ripjaws
Kingston 30GB SSD
Seagate Internal 50GB 3.5 inch SATA HD ST3500641AS-RK
Cooler Master Elite 430 Black Transparent PC Cabinet

Build budget 25000Rs ~ 500USD

K my 1st question Upgrade or Build a nw syatem
2nd question What my config shud be ??

Please review the above config make changes if necessary and also advice a power supply & GPU.

scratch the ssd... they're just not worth it... also, you definitely need to get a separate video card. I'd recommend the RADEON HD 5770... great value for the price.

Scratch the SSD, you sacrificed your HDD to 50gb which is so mind boggling. Get at least 320 to 500gb of HDD. Your power supply should at least be 400watts but get 500watts just to be safe and for the GPU, it'd be best if you get a radeon 5770 or 6770 to play newer games than the ones you listed. If you can't afford the 5770 or 6770. Get a 5670. Lol wait, i think the HDD is just a typo sorry lol

yes
u'll definitely need a graphic card for your games.

replace SSD with a good graphic card, 5770/6770 is good option for gaming but i you want to spare budget and ur power supply, u can simply get 6670 as alternative.
6670 will do for most games 720p on high and 1080 on medium resolution depending on your monitor and ur flavor.

the rest of the spec is good for your budget.
