Ddr2 1066 patriot viper and g.skill compatibility issues

Hello,
i have a 2*2 gig kit of patriot viper ddr2 1066 ram and 2*1 gig kit of gskill 1066 ram. and when i set them up as dual channel, comp wont post. when i put them seperate(single channel, with both patriot in one channel and gskill in the other) the comp boots but only lets me see the splash screen before bootlooping. when i run these kits seperately by them selves they both work and have played games. but wont work together. is there any kind of bios options i can change to fix this? running on ga-ep45-ds4p motherboard. with a non-overclocked e8200 quad.

You could try down-clocking your RAM to 800MHz by changing the FSB:RAM ratio in BIOS.

    I also have this board running 2*2 G.Skill 1066.

There is a bug in the board. It will only post with the memory in slots 2 and 4
