Hello,

I am building a file server based around WHS, I am new to this a need a little help. Here is what I am thinking of getting:

CPU/Mobo: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-e350ia-e45-amd-hudson-m1-amd-zacate-ft1-apu-ddr3-1066-1333-sata-6gb-s-itx-hd6310-vga
PSU: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-psu-silverstone-sst-st50f-p-modular-85eff-80-plus-bronze-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-quiet-fan-atx-v2
RAM: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/4gb-(2x2gb)-corsair-ddr3-xms3-classic-pc3-10666-(1333)-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-9-9-9-24-150v
CASE: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/silverstone-tj08b-e-temjin-evolution-black-micro-atx-tower-case-aluminium-steel-usb-30-w-o-psu
HDD: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2tb-western-digital-wd20earx-caviar-green-quiet-sata-6gb-s-intellipower-64mb-cache-8ms-hdd-oem

So, I haven't completely made my mind up on a lot of these because I am unsure about a lot.

1/ The mobo doesn't support RAID. I was initially thinking I would get mirrored RAID for extra security, is this worth the extra cash?
2/ Will the CPU be good enough to run a file server or should I spend more on say a new Intel Pentium G620 and Micro ATX board? (That would then give me RAID support I guess).
3/ Should I get a separate boot drive?
4/ I can probably get a lower wattage PSU?
5/ Is it worth getting some 1.35v RAM as I really dont need it to be that fast? Should I be getting more than 4GB?

Obviously no one has to answer all these question, but if anyone can help with any of them that would be great thanks.
