Alright. I currently have win2kpro and am thinking of going to winXP pro. I only play newer games(the oldest one being Half Life) The majority of my gaming is UT and Tribes2. My question to you is this, is there any noticable difference between win2k and xp in gaming performance?

you need to think about all the xp problems in hardware? If w2k is working well i would say do not upgrade yet till all bug's are fixed.

I just upgraded from 2000 Pro to XP Pro. I also play Tribes 2 and UT. Both seem to run fine in XP. My basic specs are:

Abit KT7A-Raid
512mb PC-150
Hercules GeForce2 32mb GTS
SB Live X-Gamer
