Hello everyone, I am in the process of gathering a list of components and parts that I'd like to have for my first custom gaming rig. i plan on using a 32in. Samsung LED TV as my monitor (is that ok?). What I plan on doing with my build is only running one GPU. i will be gaming on this computer, running: Battlefield 3, MW3, Shogun II, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Civ V, Football Manager and Mass Effect at the highest video and performance levels.

my actual budget for the PC is no higher than $1,200. what i have so far is:

• Case: Cooler Master HAF 922- $100
• Motherboard: AMD Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 - $150
• CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T - $170
• GPU: NVIDIA GTX 570 1.2GB DDR5 - $330
• RAM: 8GB [2 x 4GB] @ 1600MHz
• Power Supply: 750W Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 - $110
• CPU Cooler: Thermaltake CLP0579 - $33

what i need help with are:

• whether or not i should do a SSD + HDD set-up
• is the NVIDIA GTX 570 worth the extra money over the Radeon HD 6950?
• should i upgrade my PCU to the 1100T?

and if you see any other problems with my current build or have better suggestions, I would GREATLY appreciate them. thank you for your time.
