I love playing world of warcraft on my desktop but lately I have had to play it on my laptop and I hate that. I was told I needed a better video card for my desktop and someone recommended me in get GIGABYTE GV-N550OC-1GI GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card and I just wish to know if this is a good one or do I need to get another one and if so what do you recommend. I have an HP that came with a horrible video card and I just brought a computer because of the screen size which was very foolish of me but at the time I only used it for my online classes.

550 is enough to handle WOW, but I'm quite sure you'll need a new PSU as well.

GTX550 Ti should be more than enough to handle WoW. btw what is your PC spec?
