Building a computer to run FSX need advice!

Games throwing my friend through a loop, hes on an old dell that can hardly run it and is looking to build a new computer to run it maxed out. Hope you guys can whip something together:



Budget Range: $700-$1000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Flight simulator and gaming.

Parts Not Required: I have an extra PSU im going to give to him ( OCz stealthxtreme 600w )

Country of Origin: United states


Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution: 3x 1440x900 ( he already has 2 and is planning to pick up a 3rd at a later date )

Additional Comments: No monitor.PSU needed

if the third monitor is important you'll hafta go with an amd card.......a good 6950 will suffice for a flight sim.....

with a thousand dollar limit id go amd......with a phenom 2......doesnt seem like bulldozer is worth it right now.......

that comes up to 673 so far for a pretty good system......that grafix card actually has a switch on it that turns it into a 6970.....check out a review or two......
