Just ordered this - What did I screw up

Forum Systems : New Build Just ordered this - What did I screw up

Ok, I played with so many combos, surely I screwed something up. so before Newegg and Microcenter ship this out, let me know if I made a horrendous choice or if something isn't going to play nice together. I am pretty sure I am good, but I am far from an expert (When you look at the prices, remember this is before all of Newegg's coupon codes).

I'm surprised you went with a fairly mid-level GPU, especially since you ordered 2 monitors.

you want wired mouse and keyboard if you game online

Thanks everyone. I am not huge into gaming, so I was not concerned as much with a crazy graphics card, but figured if/when I get more time to do more gaming, I can always get a new card and use crossfire...

As for the keyboard and mouse, I have a wired set at home. We wanted the wireless to make it easier/more flexible for work (we are old farts who will use this more for office work than video editing and gaming).

One other question. What is a decent (inexpensive) heatsink that I can pick up? Or will the stock fan and heatsink do me well enough? thanks!

if your not overclocking then the stock fan will do fine, sounds like a bit of an overkill for your needs, but ah well. (overkill is always better than not having enough power).

Totally overkill, but I'd rather have it limping along capably in 3 or 4 years having spent $300 or so too much than to have to start over. Plus I have kids who will want to tinker sooner or later.

Thanks!
