AMD Phenom ii X6 Fan

I wanted to overclock my AMD Phenom ii X6, and I was told that I would need to change out my stock fan to do this. I was wondering what fan you guys would recommend me to get.

Is a Noctua NH D14 not better>?!

The NH D14 suffers from its size which restricts where you can use it greatly, and from what i read does not offer any significant increase in cooling and is more expensive.

I would like second Sosofm's vote for the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO. One of the best coolers out there at a really good price.

No its international, and anyway as long as you have 2 fans on that coolermaster 212 it will do very nicely at cooling your OCd X6.

Would I have to make this? or can I buy this in one piece. If I have to make it, are there instructions on how to make it somewhere?

No, you buy it, the extra bracket i believe comes with the cooler, but you will have to buy the extra 120mm fan.

Yes but 2 of the above beasties for, and put both on your cooler plus one of these 1 to 2 pwm fan adaptars...
