Hello ! New to the Forums! I just assembled my first computer as a budget gaming rig. My CPU is AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition. I have it on with the stock fan at the moment. It runs 57-58C on all 4 cores on Full Load while video encoding and some games like Battlefield 3. Is this normal? My room temperature is normally 16-20 it varies since heater is sometimes on and its winter time. Or Do I need to get a better fan for preparation for Spring and Summer? If so please recommend me some. Not too expensive please :) I am on a tight budget!
Thanks in Advance!

Those temps are normal at full load, BUT, the max temp on a PII is supposed to be 60*C. So you're pretty close there. I would definitely upgrade, way cooler and quiet. I personally would suggest getting a nicer model, such as one of the Xigmatek coolers, or a Scythe.

This requires you to remove mobo and heatsink retention plate.
