Why did ATI catalyst ruin my computer

I downloaded ATI Catalyst and it ruined my computer.i even hve trouble with chess titans and simple things like that.

ATI Catalyst did not "ruin" your computer...lol. Chances are the driver package was corrupted. Re-download the driver package (save to a different folder this time). Uninstall current ATI/AMD drivers and software, reboot the computer and use the newly downloaded driver package to reinstall. If this doesn't resolve your issue, the problem lies in either your computer or your network connection corrupting the driver package.
