6850 price drop to about $120?

When can I expect this or the 460 to drop. I am looking to get a new gpu for bf3/bioshock infinite in the mid range is it realistic to see either of these card to drop to even maybe $110 during october/november.

yeah maybe if the new generation of gpus by nvidia and ati show up by then.

They will definitely NOT drop that much in little time, however they may go on sale on Christmas/Black Friday, but other than that, you'll have to wait till like Q1 or Q2 of 2012.

they are already at a great price. They arent going to give away good cards.....The 460 wont drop much as stock availability is already slim, they no longer produce them, only the 560.

I've recently seen the 460 with a rebate for apprx 110.00 within the last week. I don't need one so I passed on it. You will simply have to do daily checks online for promotional pricing.

Also, sign up for newegg and other reputable sites for email notifications for these type of sales. Check them daily and you will get lucky eventually and get what you need for close to what you want to pay.

Some of these cards will simply run out of stock before they ever drop that low. Your last resort would be to shop ebay for a deal someone wants to dump. I just picked up a 2nd XFX 6950 2G dual BIOS card for 249 on ebay to go with my card I bought new. Now I'm ready for any game for a while to come.
