Molex to 3 pin fan adapter

Hello.
I have an molex to 3 pin that has two 5v and two 12v.
Now im using only the 12v connectors to my fans and i was thinking of removing the 5v completely.
Im gonna put in another adapter so it would be nice to get rid of the extra cables i don't need.
So i will have an adapter with only the two 12v molex pins. That shouldn't be a problem right?

You sure that its not 12v and ground wires you have? fan cant run without 1 of each.

Yeah. It's a molex adapter with 4 3-pin adapters

And those white are 5v and i don't use them.
