Hello,

I have a MSI 880G-E45 motherboard, I randomly got back from a weekend away and noticed that my desktop's internet wasn't working. Windows 7 shows that its connected with internet but when I go to the browser and/or ping a website it says its not connected. The light on the back of the ethernet port of the motherboard is blinking orange (I don't see any green which I'm used to).

I've tried the following:

- Re-installed network card drivers
- Swapped out the network cable
- Tried to connect it via another port on the router and through another switch (router and switch work fine with other computers and devices)
- Disabled and enabled the network card via the Bios
- Booted into Safe Mode with Networking to make sure there weren't any processes that were blocking my connection to the internet

Are there any other tests I can run? I suspect the hardware is fine since I see the orange light blinking on the back of the port, but maybe thats wrong? Thoughts? Advice is appreciated.
