If your dell is not a small form factor but a tower then you can! (I suggest better Rosewill is not a recommended brand)

that is a very good deal

replacing junk with junk is a waste of money. Roswell does not put their name on good PSUs. (roswell does not design or manufacture PSUs).

You can get a Corsair CX430V2 for $25 or less after rebate. Just watch for a sale. It is a quality unit that will last for a long time. The real question is why are you replacing the PSU in the first place? 450W won't do a lot other than a single GPU around 6850 or less (not sure no the numbers without running them).

I find rosewill to have such a negative stigma that most people see the name and go lolnope

I find myself doing the same thing often times
Would I buy this unit... uhh not personally no, but thats just because im concerned about their business practices .. not that the unit is bad or good I just would assume they have lousy tech support and warranties seeing ashow they have no shame in what they put their product label on

also you can check out this cheap modular psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

not as efficient but puts out more wattage so I think it evens it self out (why bother paying 100 dollars for a 400w gold when you can get a 700w for the same... yah know?)

looking to put in a gts 450. from what I can tell it wants 400w at least. and with 450w listed on the nvidia page its showing up to a gtx 580, that gives me room to upgrade the gpu in the future and get more life outta junkie dell pc.

I might step it up 20$ and get the 550w instead. who knows.

damn it why does my post get deleted with this idiotic post remaining?! :pfff:

this guy is a complete fool and the PSU he recommends hardly is in the same class as that rosewill which got a recommend from jonny guru (reviewers who know a lot more then nordnoob here). The rosewill offers a better warrant, better efficieny, far more power on the 12v rail and is rated at a higher temp. Rosewill green series has also received hardware secrets gold award proving the nonsense nordnoob here posts.

lets be serious here, 99% of rosewills psu are junk, this is like the only gem in a barrel of yuck.

rosewill does have some junk PSU but they also have good units. many other brands have PSU at different price points (antec, cooler master, kingwin, thermaltake; to mention a few)

1. capstone line has received the jonny guru recommend award (same platform as the kingwin lazer gold series)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

2. hive line is based on the same platform as the OCZ ZS series that has been well reviewed by jonny guru (recommend), techpowerup (8.2 / 10), and hardware secrets (gold award)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

3. green series that received the gold award from hardware secrets
