Win8 laptop - apps & screen auto rotate

Hello All,

I have a laptop that came bundled with win8 pro, (intel HD graphics)
I have a few questions,

1.My laptop has touchscreen, whenever I rotated the laptop the screen automatically changed to the angle I was holding it at, a few days ago it seemed to start rotating the wrong way, so I disabled it in the screen resolution options - now when i enable it it won't work, any idea if there is another option screen I need to get to, or someway to re-enable it?

2.in the windows 8 app store, I can only see the top 100 apps in any section, is there a way to see all apps, and not just 100 in any section? (and a way to search for apps) (not installed ones)
