I have the following 1000VA/600W CyberPower UPS:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
My breaker blows once a week or so and it will support a draw of about 150W for about 15 minutes. I would expect your entire system to use about 300W-350W in the middle of a graphics-intense game (luckily the 6950 is not a power-hungry card) so my UPS with a 1000VA rating wouldn't have a problem supporting your system for 1-2 minutes.

Volt-Amps and Wattage aren't the only factors, though. Total battery size makes a difference, too.

750W is a little much for a 6950, yeah. If you add a second 6950 one later you'll be a little closer. I would have gone probably with a 650W PSU.

Like I said, 935VA is probably enough, but I can't say for sure. I will say that 935VA is going to be enough power to support your system, but I don't know how long it will support it. I think most UPS's will support their max wattage for a couple of minutes, though.
