I need to build a development machine. Primary purpose will be J2EE development for the enterprise but I will also do personal projects and will need to travel with it, so portability is important. A compact case with a handle would be great.

Primary OS will be RHEL, dual boot from multiple drives is a possibility.

On the mobo I would like to have (not necessarily all crucial):
USB 3.0
bluetooth
wifi
eSATA

I have a 120GB Vertex 2 drive that will serve as primary boot drive and I think that will be enough space for what i am doing. Room for a mechanical drive on top of that would be useful.

Onboard graphics would be fine, there will be no gaming with this machine. I would like to stream some Netflix and such.

I'd like to stay under $500, keeping in mind I have a good drive already.

Any ideas?

Just a bit of a tip: if you're going to use wired ethernet, try to avoid newer broadcom chipsets since they can cause issues (older drivers will latch onto the chips and can't correctly drive them, which results in needing to remove the old and build and install new ones downloaded from broadcom)
