What steps should I take for install new motherboard?

For installing a new motherboard with different chipset, should I take out existing mobo then put in new mobo, then on bootup choose boot from cd and insert the windows 7 disc to reinstall windows?
Is this the correct way of doing this?

Yup that's it. It is a very simple process but if you have any doubts there are a lot of guides and youtube videos around
