I built my computer about a year and a half ago,and I have been running it without any issues, but decided to add more memory to it. I ordered exactly the same memory that I had in the system, and installed it. I have been getting blue screens ever since, (five so far in the past six days), and when researched it online, it suggests that it might be a memory issue. I have donwloaded Memtest86 and installed it on a bootable CD, burning the image with ImageBurn, but when i restart the computer and it goes to the CD, it gets stuck in the "...ready". It does not do anything else, not giving me any options, and no matter what key I press nothing happens. In other words, it won't load up the program. I read in a few forums that some other people have the same issue due to the fact that my computer configuration does not have an IDE port (see my configuration below). So the next step was to create an USB bootable drive, and run Memtest86 from it. I downloaded the software from the Memtest site to create an USB bootable drive, but it won't run it either. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.
