I have a 40" Samsung HDTV connected with a SVGA cable to an HP Pavillion laptop. I can see the background wallpaper but I can't see the icons or anything that is in my computer monitor. There are hide to the left of the HDTV monitor. Whatever I have in my computer monitor I have to drag it to the right to be able to see part of it in my HDTV monitor. It doesnt matter what kind of resolutions I have it set in the display settings. Any advice?
