RAM Working together??!!

Hey Community!

I have in my rig. A 6gb (3x2gb) tri channel rip jaws kit. Which is currently about 2 years old. 1600mhz is the speed. Will a new tri channel kit simply work. Its GSkill branded, ripjaws and the same speed. But obviously they re much newer. Can the system run them?
