Alight I've got a build going, but would love some other opinions on it.
I'm willing to spend $800-900 not including monitor/keyboard/os/mouse/speakers.
So check it out, the computer will be solely used for games. The kind of tips I'm looking for are; if I'm going over board on certain things or if there's a cheaper options out there thats similar to what I'm thinking about getting or if there's a slightly more expensive option thats well worth the extra cash. Any other comments are also welcome!

CPU- Intel Core i5-2500k sandy bridge.

mobo- ASUS p8p67.

memory- Patroit Gamer 2 series 2x4GB 1333Mhz.

DVD- Sony Optiarc AD-7260s.

Case- lian-li PC-K7B.

Power supply- Seasonic S12II 520 Bronze 520w.

Your setup is almost identical to the setup I will be building in about a month. Only difference is I am getting the WD 1TB drive, Same PSU but I'm getting the 620W version, HAF 912 case, and G.SKill 8gb 1600 mhz. Looks good to me!

My build is going to cost me about $850 Canadian before tax and applicable shipping. I'll let the experts comment and I'll take notes too :p

I just checked out the G.Skill 8gb 1600Mhz, I think I'll probably go with that considering it's about the same price as the RAM I picked.
