im thinking of buying a new computer with direct x 11 on it. will it support command and conquer generals?

dx11 gfx cards can do dx9 fine, but game states win 2000/me/xp, so dont know if run ok on vista/7.
there is much better rts than generals tbh, try company of heroes, sc2.
I'm still having a blast with company of heroes with my mates years after buying it.

In order to have DX11 you need a gpu that supports DX11 and preferably Win7 64bit.
DX11 cards will play any prior versions of DX.
