I'm planning on upgrading to an AMD Radeon HD 6970 from an ATI Radeon HD 5770, and would my Ultra ATX 750w PSU be suitable for it?

I also have an Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 with 7 fans, and 11 LEDs, an Intel i7 950, not overclock, a 1TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive, and 8GBs of RAM.

I guess...

Generally speaking, a 750W PSU should have no problems with a HD 6970. However, Ultra is a pretty bad brand. I would say I will not have issues with a single HD 6970, just don't add another HD 6970.

It is generally a good idea to buy a power supply from a company with a good track record like Seasonic, XFX, Corsair, Antec, Silverstone, PC Power & Cooling, OCZ, and Enermax for example.

Yep, you could easily run them in Crossfire with that unit.
