I tried the Kensington dongle, and it had great WidComm software, but
it's too fragile for laptop usage...
I tried the 3Com PC card, and the XJack antenna was unobtrusive, but
the software absolutely STINKS!
Now I'm trying the TDK PC Card, and I'm back to the great WidComm
software, but it sticks out of the laptop by a full INCH!
Is there no BlueTooth PC Card with a fully retractable antenna that
uses the WidComm drivers???? I need to buy at least 25 of these
things if I can find the "right one"...

The TDK PCMCIA card sticks out by less than 20mm. Widcomm based.

Also try the Socket Bluetooth CF card, www.socketcom.com; has a very low
profile with included PC Card adapter. I don't know if it's Widcomm
compatible.

It's low profile but it doesn't use widcomm.
