So I have my current specs in my sig (I know it's old) and I'm finally upgrading. Mainly I want to know if my 500w PSU will be enough of a powersource to use this. The motherboard, Ram and PSU are temporary. I plan on buying a better motherboard, ram and psu later on. I just want to know if a 500w will last till I get a 750w.

Ram "http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231396"

Motherboard "http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157255"

CPU "http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072"

Video Card "http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814103086" (My video card only has 1 DIV port)

PSU "http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371004"

Like I said the PSU, Motherboard, and Ram are all temp parts and will be replaced with better counter parts. I just want to know if my currect PSU has enough juice to run the whole rig I plan on building.

Also I forgot to mention I already use the psu listed.

Solution
A system with the 5770 requires 450W. They have already included the CPU. His CPU is a 95W CPU, the 5770 needs around 110W of power. Add in 50W for the board and drives, and you are looking at a draw of around 250W. Easy for a 500W PSU.
You said the video card you have only has one DVI port but the one you listed has two plus others is this what you have ; DIAMOND 5770PE51G Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

If this is the card you have , it requires a 450w or greater power supply , so along with the sandy bridge cpu I would say the 500w is not enough. Of course if this is not the card you have then you have to provide the correct item number so I can see what you have.

As 4745454b noted the PSU has sufficient power for the OP. He may need a PCI-E adapter or whatever for the Vid card but the PSU 12v rail output of 18 amps. each, (216W), should be fine and both rails can be used to balance the CPU and Vid card.
