Problem:
My system hangs on the very first boot logo since the first time I fired her up. Its like a 50/50 chance, sometimes it will boot right up and my systems runs great. But half the it will hang, stuck on the very first boot logo.

So what I did is updated my bios via 'AI suit II' (in Windows 7 64bit) updating from a file. I updated from the factory bios to version 1102. I still had the same problem, 50/50 chance. Then I updated to version 1304 and still the same problem.

Iv tried pulling the battery and that didn't help either. Any ideas?

to be honest it sounds like a bad MB. I would try contacting Asus to see if you can get an RMA. I have the same MB and had the same processor before upgrading to bulldozer, and with both procs I have never had that.

It could also be an issue with the PSU, but that is unlikely
